Production Manager Position Summary The Cannabis Production Worker supports the day-to-day production, processing, packaging, and preparation of cannabis products in compliance with company procedures, state regulations, and applicable safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Assist with cannabis product production and processing activities. Prepare, weigh, measure, and package cannabis products according to established procedures. Operate and clean production equipment and work areas. Follow batch instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality-control requirements. Accurately label, record, and track products and production materials. Maintain accurate production and inventory records. Inspect products for quality, consistency, and packaging accuracy. Follow sanitation, workplace safety, and contamination-prevention procedures. Handle cannabis and production materials carefully and responsibly. Communicate production issues, equipment problems, or quality concerns to supervisors. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant production environment. Perform other production-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Must possess valid IIC and RIC cards. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, food production, agriculture, or cannabis-industry experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to maintain accurate records. Must comply with all applicable state and local cannabis regulations. Must meet all applicable age and licensing requirements for cannabis employment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work for extended periods. Ability to repeatedly bend, reach, lift, and move materials. Ability to lift and carry production materials within company-established limits. Ability to work in a controlled production environment and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Work Environment This position works in a regulated cannabis production facility. Employees are expected to maintain strict standards for cleanliness, safety, security, product handling, and regulatory compliance.
