Role:
Join our team at Gallan Lumber as a Mill Worker in South Paris, ME! This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you'll play a crucial role in the production process.
Responsibilities:
Operate a milling equipment to ensure efficient production. Report any maintenance needs to supervisors promptly Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Perform quality checks on wood products to meet specifications. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving machinery issues. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing or mill environment is a plus. Ability to operate machinery and tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials. Team player with strong communication skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime. Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.
