Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a detail‑oriented Production Scientist to support the production of diagnostic products. This role is responsible for raw material qualification, reagent preparation, in‑process testing, equipment operation, and ensuring all products meet strict quality standards. This position is ideal for someone with a scientific background who enjoys hands‑on lab work, problem‑solving, and contributing to a fast‑paced, quality‑driven production environment. Key Responsibilities Production & Laboratory Work
  • Follow all SOPs and standardized work instructions
  • Prepare buffers, reagents, controls, and kit components
  • Perform functional testing on in‑process and completed products
  • Operate and perform basic maintenance on automated and semi‑automated equipment
  • Use common laboratory instruments (pH meters, balances, spectrophotometers)
  • Qualify raw materials and reagents Quality & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate material usage and inventory records
  • Process, analyze, and report quantitative data, including performance trending
  • Identify, document, and segregate non‑conforming product
  • Complete all quality system documentation with accuracy and timeliness
  • Draft and review new or updated SOPs Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Work with R D on product transfer, pilot production, and scale‑up
  • Support Technical Support and Product Development with material requests
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related science
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and able to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to analyze technical issues and present solutions Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in both laboratory and office environments
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to use a computer for long durations
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly
