Job Description

As a Senior Production Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations across one or more production work centers. You will perform a variety of production tasks while contributing to process improvements, data analysis, and cross-functional initiatives. You'll play an important role in ensuring efficient workflows, maintaining product quality, and supporting continuous improvement efforts that drive operational success.

Shift:
Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM In this role: You will perform a variety of production and manufacturing tasks across one or more work centers You will gather, analyze, and report operational and production data You will identify and implement process, system, and workflow improvements You will support and participate in projects, contributing ideas and solutions You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to support production activities You will follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety requirements to ensure compliance You will assist with equipment setup, operation, changeover, and clean-up You will maintain accurate, real-time product documentation You will support troubleshooting and routine problem-solving for equipment and processes You will help train and guide other employees or temporary staff when needed You will maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment What you need to succeed: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred 1-3+ years of production or manufacturing experience Strong analytical and data-gathering skills Demonstrated ability to identify and support process improvements Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Basic project coordination or project management capability Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general PC applications What you can expect in this role: A combination of office, laboratory, and light manufacturing work environments Exposure to equipment setup, assembly, and basic instrument handling Opportunities to cross-train across multiple work centers Involvement in continuous improvement and operational initiatives Work performed under general supervision with some independent judgment
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged sitting with frequent computer and phone use Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 2 hours) Frequent use of hands for handling, reaching, and operating equipment Occasional bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, or balancing Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Visual abilities including close vision, color differentiation, and depth perception Sufficient hearing and verbal communication ability for effective interaction What you can expect from us:
