Busy metal recycling plant in Belleville has an opening for a General Laborer. This company separates and processes ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Annually, they process over a billion pounds of metals which are re-sold to customers worldwide!!

Shifts:

Monday-Thursday with some OT on Fridays! Days 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM Afternoons 3:00 PM - 1:00

AM Job Responsibilities:

Picking, sorting, and lifting unusable scrap from moving conveyors Cleaning the work area Operating a forklift Transporting scrap into various bins for processing Other duties as assigned by plant management Position requirements include: High School Diploma or GED 1-2 years of general labor experience Forklift experience is a definite plus. Must be able to work overtime as needed Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis All applicants will be required to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical exam, prior to potentially being hired.!

Pay:

$16.00 - $16.50 per hour
