Assembly, Machine Operation Assembly Worker, hiring for BorgWarner in Cadillac, MI. 2nd shift, 3pm to 1am, Monday through Thursday, with possible overtime on Friday. $17.00/hour pay rate. Prior manufacturing experience preferred. Must have excellent attendance. This is a hire in opportunities based on attendance and performance.

In this role, you will be actively engaged in supporting the production process, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. Your hands-on approach and mechanical aptitude will help keep operations running smoothly from assembly to packaging. Duties Operate various hand tools and power tools to assemble, modify, or repair products on the production line Use forklift equipment safely to move materials and supplies within the manufacturing facility or warehouse area Assist with the setup and breakdown of assembly lines, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal downtime Conduct quality checks on finished products, identifying defects or issues for immediate resolution Support warehouse operations by loading, unloading, and organizing raw materials and finished goods Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and machinery safety procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to promote a safe and efficient environment Requirements Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for working with mechanical systems and tools Experience operating forklifts or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Familiarity with assembly lines, hand tools, power tools, and basic manufacturing processes Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform repetitive tasks with precision Warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong attention to detail, safety-mindedness, and a proactive attitude toward teamwork Embark on a career where your skills make an immediate impact!
