Job Summary Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Machine Tool Builder! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining complex industrial machinery and equipment. Your expertise will ensure that manufacturing tools and systems operate smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will be vital in building precision machinery that drives our manufacturing excellence. Duties Assemble, install, and calibrate manufacturing machinery using detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics to ensure accurate assembly and wiring of industrial equipment. Set up machining tools, including CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, ensuring precise operation for manufacturing processes. Read and analyze production documents and specifications to meet quality standards and project requirements. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and ensure high-quality assembly. Perform electrical wiring, pneumatic system setup, hydraulic connections, and mechanical assembly of industrial equipment. Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to assemble components accurately. Interpret technical drawings related to metal machining, mechanical assembly, and electrical systems for effective construction. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all phases of machine building and installation activities. Requirements Proven experience reading blueprints, schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical drawings in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machine assembly, metal machining, welding, and mechanical blueprint interpretation. Familiarity with CNC programming/setup and operation is highly desirable. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical wiring, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial equipment is essential. Skilled in the use of measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, micrometer gauges, and other precision measurement tools for quality control. Ability to interpret production documents accurately while adhering to safety standards. Knowledge of electrical schematics reading combined with electrical wiring experience in industrial settings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, measurement instruments, and mechanical assembly techniques. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members across various technical disciplines.
