Job Description

JobsRUs.com is now hiring Production Operators for a recycling facility in Dundee, MI. Candidates with prior experience in recycling or manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
Shift Schedule:
Day Shift:
7:00 AM 7:30 PM 12-Hour Shifts | 4
Days Per Week Pay Rate:
$18.75/hour Job Responsibilities Operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the plant Move, retrieve, and empty hoppers as needed Follow all plant safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Perform duties according to work instructions and company procedures Conduct quality inspections during production operations Utilize manufacturing data systems for basic shop floor tasks Respond to process alarms and assist in restoring operations Handle non-conforming materials according to company standards Assist with training and mentoring new employees Support production changeovers, productivity goals, and scrap reduction efforts Identify opportunities for departmental improvement Participate in plant meetings and team initiatives Qualifications Physical Requirements Previous recycling facility experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, and work up to 12 hours per shift Forklift experience preferred Comfortable working in a noisy industrial environment with recyclable debris and odors Ability to climb stairs/ladders, crouch, kneel, and reach overhead Must wear required PPE including eye, ear, head, toe, and high-visibility protection Ability to visually inspect products for defects
