Job Description

Currently hiring Production Operators for a recycling facility located in Dundee, MI. Previous experience in a recycling or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Shift Details:
Night Shift:
7:00 PM - 7:30
AM Schedule:
3-4 days per week
Pay:
$18.75 per hour
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility Move, retrieve, and empty hoppers within the plant Follow all safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping practices Perform duties according to written work instructions and company procedures Conduct quality checks during line operations Utilize manufacturing data systems for basic production functions Respond to process control alarms and restore processes as needed Handle non-conforming materials according to company standards Assist with employee training and mentoring Support production changeovers, productivity goals, and scrap reduction Identify opportunities for operational improvement Participate in plant meetings and team activities
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Frequently sit, stand, and walk for up to 12 hours per shift Operate forklifts safely and efficiently Work in a manufacturing environment with noise, odors, and recyclable debris Ability to visually inspect products for defects Must be able to crouch, kneel, climb stairs/ladders, and reach overhead Required to wear PPE, including eye, ear, head, toe, and high-visibility protection
