Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. In this energetic role, you will be actively involved in assembling, operating machinery, and maintaining production workflows to ensure the efficient creation of high-quality tools. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will help support our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Position Overview:

Safely operates machines or tools performing one or more repetitive assembly duties in manufacturing operations to mass produce parts-in-process or finished product.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate drill presses, saws, lathe, Bridgeport's, mill machines and hand tools
• Responsible for inspecting, assembling, packaging of parts and products
• Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and notifying supervisors of needs
• Verifies all safety features are in place prior to starting any job
• Selects stock for current job process according to specifications
• Responsible for tool changeovers and set-ups
• Maintain consistent production levels with conformance to job specifications
• Pulls damaged or ineffective product or equipment and brings to supervisors attention
• General housekeeping of work area
• Assist shipping and receiving as needed
• Assist with grounds maintenance as needed
• Work Over Time as required
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Education / Certification o Basic math and reading skills required
• Knowledge & Experience o Knowledge of related safety requirements to include proper use of safety equipment and proper safety precautions o Ability to interpret machine gauges o Fluent in English and the ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written)
• Personal Attributes o Ability & willingness to understand and follow routine oral and written instructions o Good attendance a must
• Other Skills / Abilities o Ability to lift up to 75lbs occasionally o Ability to lift up to 20lbs often

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
