Full Job Description The Opportunity:
The 1st Shift Production Line Lead is responsible for overseeing the production machine line and Its employees within the Flint Michigan Warehouse. Line Lead ensures maximum efficiency, productivity and quality of assembly of customer orders.
Hours:
Mon - Fri, 6am - 2:30pm (overtime and weekends as needed)
Pay Rate:
$20.00/hr

Flint, MI 48505 How you will impact
Packaging Solutions, Smurfit Westrock:
Partner with Team Leads to ensure staff members are assigned tasks as outlined in the work order and assist with training. Work side by side with crew to prepare product for customers that include: Pack product of varying type Unpack/Repackage product of varying type Build product bundles of supplies Build mailing packets Box printing Box labeling Receive new and returned product Log and track production documentation Ensure safety and quality standards at all times. Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed:
High school diploma or equivalent Able to operate PIT equipment At least 2 years of experience leading a crew in a production environment: corrugated manufacturing plant environment preferred General fluency in English required, verbal and written Basic computer skills.
