In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining die cutting machinery to produce high-quality paper corrugated packaging products. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, safety standards are upheld, and quality benchmarks are consistently met. Responsibilities Operate and monitor die cutting machines, ensuring efficient production flow and adherence to safety protocols. Interpret production documents, including job tickets and specifications, to set up machines accurately. Perform mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting on converting machines to optimize performance and minimize downtime. Conduct dimensional measurements and quality checks throughout the production process to meet strict quality standards. Handle manual tasks such as loading materials, stacking finished products, and performing routine machine maintenance. Utilize forklift equipment safely for material handling, including loading raw materials and transporting finished goods. Maintain detailed records of production activities, machine settings, and quality inspections in compliance with manufacturing standards. Experience Proven experience operating converting machinery, especially die cutters or flexo presses, in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively. Familiarity with prepress processes, printing techniques, and interpreting technical drawings or production documents. Knowledge of safety standards in industrial production environments and strict adherence to safety protocols. Basic math skills for measuring dimensions, calculating material requirements, and adjusting machine settings accurately. Experience working with industrial equipment such as machining tools, packaging machinery, and forklifts is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality output and safety compliance.
