Reporting to the Extrusion Supervisor, you will play an important role in keeping production running safely, efficiently, and on time while helping us achieve our goals of zero defects and 100% on-time delivery. What You'll Do Package parts on each extrusion line according to company specifications. Inspect parts for surface quality, color, profile appearance, and dimensions, and complete quality checks as needed. Complete production paperwork accurately and on time throughout your shift. Follow standard work procedures for packaging, supplies, and documentation. Keep your work area clean, organized, and aligned with daily housekeeping and 5S standards. Support a culture of continuous improvement by helping make the workplace safer, more efficient, and more enjoyable for everyone. Take on other duties as needed to support the team and production goals.
Requirements:
What You Bring Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Skills for
Success:
Basic math skills. Helpful Experience (Preferred, but Not Required): Basic computer skills. Problem-solving skills. Experience with manufacturing tools such as calculators, measuring cups, weigh scales, steel rules, tape measures, pro-scales, calipers, comparators, protractors, laser gauges, warp gauges, tape guns, and staplers. Basic blueprint reading skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or Kanban. Physical Demands Ability to stand in one place and perform continuous, repetitive movements for up to 8 hours. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Safety glasses, ear protection, and closed-toe shoes must be worn on the production floor.
