  • First Shift Second Shift Weekend Shift Purpose of the Job The Production Operator
  • Plastic Injection Molding is responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding equipment to produce high-quality molded plastic components.
This role includes insert molding, visual inspection, and packaging of finished products while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and production standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, maintains consistent product quality, and supports efficient manufacturing operations. Duties and Responsibilities Operate insert molding machines and related production equipment safely and efficiently. Perform visual and dimensional inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Package completed components according to customer and company specifications. Identify, document, and report defective products or workmanship issues promptly. Follow all company quality standards, procedures, and work instructions on a daily basis. Maintain accurate production and quality records as required. Participate in internal and external quality audits and support compliance initiatives. Work collaboratively with the Quality and Plant Manager to support continuous improvement efforts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with production employees and management. Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time throughout the shift. Ability to stoop, bend, and perform repetitive movements as required. Strong visual acuity and attention to detail. Ability to consistently lift up to 15 pounds. Ability to occasionally lift 30 pounds or more. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity required. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality standards.
