Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable Production Associates to join our team in a fast-paced metal processing environment. This hands-on role supports daily production by moving materials, assisting with machine operations, inspecting products, and preparing finished steel products for shipment.
Shifts:
We are hiring for all shifts. Training will take place on 1st shift.
1st
Shift:
7:00am
•3:00pm — $18.50/hour
2nd
Shift:
3:00pm
•11:00pm — $20.00/hour
3rd
Shift:
11:00pm
•7:00am— $19.50/hour
Schedule Requirements:
Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed
Schedule may vary based on production needs
Job Responsibilities:
Operate and support production equipment on the CTL (Cut-to-Length) line
Package, band, and prepare finished steel products for shipment
Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility
Supply production lines with necessary materials
Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
Read and accurately use a tape measure (English and metric)
Track orders, tags, and packaging requirements
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Manufacturing experience preferred, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
Pass a background check
Pass a Drug Screen
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift
Strong attendance and dependable work history
Basic math and computer skills
Mechanical aptitude is a plus
Forklift and/or crane experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
Physical Requirements:
Hands-on manufacturing environment with moving equipment
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Exposure to heat, noise, and industrial equipment
Required PPE includes steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection
