Industrial manufacturing | forging | hands-on production PMP Personnel Services is partnered with a Northern Michigan manufacturing company in Kalkaska that produces high-quality forged metal components and professional-grade hand tools used across construction, HVAC, roofing, and industrial trades. We are currently hiring Forge Production Associates for full-time 1st shift openings in a hands-on manufacturing environment. If you enjoy physical work, working with machinery, and being part of a team that creates real metal products, this could be a great fit. What You'll Be Doing Support forging and production operations throughout the facility Operate induction heaters and assist with forge equipment Load billet feeders and support hammer operations Help set up and adjust forge dies and tooling Inspect forged parts for alignment and quality Assist with material movement and production flow Maintain clean and organized work areas Follow all safety and manufacturing procedures What We're Looking For Manufacturing or production experience preferred Comfortable working in an industrial environment Ability to lift, move, and stay active throughout the shift Strong work ethic and reliability Basic math and measurement skills Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn High school diploma or GED preferred Why You'll Like This Job Consistent Monday-Friday schedule Hands-on manufacturing environment Opportunity to learn industrial forging processes Work with machinery and real metal production Stable, full-time opportunity Be part of a manufacturing team producing American-made tools and forged products Real Talk (So You Know What to Expect) This is physical industrial work involving heat, machinery, steel components, and repetitive production tasks.
