Position Summary MS Companies is hiring immediately for a motivated and detail-oriented Inspector 1 (Quality Control) to support our automotive manufacturing clients. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality standards are met through visual and manual inspection, documentation, and reporting using MS Companies' technology-driven systems. This position is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail, reliability, and experience in automotive manufacturing environments. Responsibilities Perform visual and/or manual inspection of automotive parts, components, and materials to ensure quality standards are met Identify, document, and report defects or non-conformances to leadership Follow established quality inspection procedures throughout all stages of production Accurately record inspection results using company systems and digital tools Communicate quality concerns effectively with supervisors and team members Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality Adhere to all company policies, client requirements, and safety regulations Maintain productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Physical Requirements Ability to visually identify defects in color, shape, size, or texture Ability to hear and differentiate sounds in a manufacturing environment Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours on concrete floors) Ability to move throughout facility areas, including stairs Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, and maintain balance Ability to perform repetitive motions and fine motor tasks Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 lbs. Strong hand-eye coordination required for inspection tasks Ability to work in varying temperature conditions within a manufacturing environment Qualifications Ability to communicate clearly and follow detailed verbal and written instructions Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing required Automotive sewing experience required (e.g., seat covers, trim, upholstery, or related automotive textile assembly) Familiarity with quality standards, work instructions, or inspection checklists Experience using digital reporting tools (tablets, mobile applications, or similar systems) Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) Work Hours Work hours and schedules may vary by location and operational needs.
