The Opportunity This position assists the production team across multiple areas to ensure safe, accurate, and timely completion of customer jobs. The role supports machine operations, material handling, inspection, and general production activities while following established processes, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This position provides hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and supports overall production efficiency. Key Responsibilities Assist with machine setup and changeovers. Feed machines with product to maintain continuous production. Visually inspect labels and materials for defects. Splice rolls together using scissors and tape according to job requirements. Slit down jobs and assist with hand stripping as needed. Assist with gathering operations on Folder/Gluer equipment. Cut cores specific to each job. Prepare labels and Certificates of Compliance. Verify correct materials are present and properly organized for production runs. Clean and maintain machines, tools, and common work areas. Move printed and unprinted stock as required throughout production. Assist with preventative maintenance tasks. Assemble print cylinders and gears as assigned. Perform and review line‑clearance procedures. Remove waste and scrap from production areas. Operate motorized lifts as required. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), standard operating procedures, and safety policies. Work safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations. What You Need to Succeed High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to read and understand ruler measurements. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to obtain a Hi‑Lo (forklift) license. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
