Job Summary Joining Atlas Copco as a Production Operator, you will be an integral member of our advanced manufacturing team focused on delivering custom-engineered, high-quality products with safety and precision at the forefront. Your role will encompass working across different production stages such as Cold-Heading, Heat Treat, Plating, Sorting, and Collation, optimizing each process to meet rigorous excellence standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Consistently adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Develop proficiency in sorting and packaging components accurately to support seamless production flow. Conduct routine troubleshooting and perform minor machine adjustments to maximize operational efficiency and minimize downtime. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared workstation to facilitate smooth handovers between shifts, promoting productivity and safety. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure machinery operates at peak performance while consistently meeting all quality specifications. Engage actively in minor maintenance tasks and quality assurance checks to uphold the highest product standards. Maintain meticulous documentation, including daily history sheets, manufacturing packs, and other critical records to ensure traceability and compliance. Participate in training programs enabling skills development such as fork truck operation and ERP system data entry. Assist in manufacturing assemblies like cassettes when required, demonstrating versatility and a commitment to team success. Perform additional related duties as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department. This role demands a blend of hands-on manufacturing expertise, analytical problem-solving, and collaborative team spirit, fostering a workplace environment that champions safety, quality, and operational excellence. Qualifications To excel in this position, you will need the following attributes and skills: A strong commitment to prioritizing safety and quality at all times. Ability to accurately measure components, including thickness gauging and coating weight assessments. Basic proficiency with computers to support data entry and process documentation. Consistent punctuality and reliability to maintain smooth production schedules. A positive and proactive attitude that embraces continuous learning and collaboration. Effective teamwork skills to partner with colleagues across shifts and functions. While prior experience in manufacturing is appreciated, we encourage applications from individuals eager to learn and develop within a supportive environment.
Pay:
From $17.50 per hour
