Job Description

HAZEKAMP MEATS/PREMIER FOODS
Production Clerk -
General Labor Schedule:
Full Time (Scheduled 8 hours + mandatory overtime if required) Note! End times may vary based on production needs.
Starting Wage:
$17/HR based on experience
BENEFITS AND 401K
included after introductory periods. Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to: Assemble boxes, labels, weigh, and box product. Operate scale system, packaging, and other processing equipment Package meat by sizes and cuts. Sorting trayed product. Trimming and cutting of product. Pre-Op/Post-Op/Clean-Up of area. Assemble kabobs using vegetables and meat products Cut vegetables and meat as needed.
Requirements:
Must wear PPE and adhere to all safety rules. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior food industry experience preferred but not required (training is provided). Perform the job safely while adhering to company safety standards. Good active listening skills /communication skills Ability to read and write
English Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, stoop, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Work Environment:
The associate will have to learn and perform all duties related to food safety and product handling as dictated by Company procedures and verified and inspected by representatives of the U.S.D.A. The associate frequently stands on a concrete floor and will be subjected to cold temperatures (approximately 35 - 43). The noise level in the work environment is usually semi-loud.
