Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our manufacturing team at Interdyne Systems on second shift, operating on a four-day, ten-hour schedule. In this role, you will be an integral part of the production process, ensuring that products are assembled efficiently, safely, and to quality standards. Your hands-on involvement will include brake press operating, MIG/TIG welding, metal finishing, and assembly while helping drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a safe, productive factory environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for manufacturing to grow their skills in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities Operate brake press equipment safely and efficiently during your shift, adhering to all safety standards and protocols. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to assemble and finish laboratory furniture components according to technical drawings and production documents. Perform MIG/TIG welding based on blueprint specifications on stainless steel material to produce high quality laboratory furniture. Manage heavy lifting tasks manually or with forklift assistance while following proper handling procedures. Interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and production documentation accurately to ensure quality standards are met. Conduct routine inspections of products using measuring instruments to verify dimensions and specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with safety standards in the manufacturing environment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify process improvements and implement lean manufacturing practices that enhance efficiency. Skills Proven experience working in a factory or manufacturing facility environment with knowledge of safety standards in production. Skilled in operating forklifts, hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments with safety protocol adherence. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions. Experience with manufacturing management processes such as process improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety at all times. Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, and managing production or assembly teams is a plus. Technical proficiency in using manufacturing equipment, interpreting technical documents, and maintaining quality control standards.
