Pay rate:
1st Shift
  • $17.00/hr 2nd Shift
  • 17.00/hr + $3.00 Shift Premium 3rd Shift

00/hr + $3.00 Shift Premium Primary duties and responsibilities: The welding operator will safely run production machines as assigned while maintaining quality of the parts. Runs assigned jobs at required production rate. Completes documentation and recording as required for quality, production, downtime, rework, scrap, etc. Ensures compliance to manufacturing requirements such as correct labelling/tagging and correct reporting. Ensures safety and PPE requirements are met in the workplace. Reads, interprets, and properly carries out work instructions. Is responsible for and held accountable for defective product produced. Works well with team members to achieve production and company goals. Reports safety issues immediately to supervisor and/or management staff. Understands and is able to communicate company quality policy. Conducts corrective action and performs problem solving to resolve issues. Works on and learns to operate a variety of machines or activities as assigned. Is willing to train and learn new skillsets and concepts to achieve company goals. Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Experienced running production machinery, robotic welding preferred. GMAW welding background preferred. Hand welding training or certification preferred. Familiar with quality verification methods and measuring devices. Hilo license preferred.
Physical environment/work conditions:
The position is in the factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. Other (e.g., customer contact or access to confidential information): This position works in a production environment. The position will report directly to the Production supervisor and will have daily interaction with other team members.
