This position combines the responsibilities of managing customer orders within a manufacturing environment and acts as a bridge between sales, customer service and the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities:

Manage customer orders by planning and scheduling production to ensure timely delivery Meet customer needs while optimizing production efficiency Communicate updates to both customers and internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment Receive and process customer orders, verifying specifications and ensuring accurate entry into the system Communicate directly with customers regarding order status, potential delays, changes and modifications Analyze sales forecasts and customer demand to create production schedules that align with delivery deadlines Coordinate with manufacturing team to ensure resource availability to meet production targets and monitor production progress to identify potential bottlenecks Manage raw material inventory and finished goods inventory to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs Qualifications and Required Education and Skills Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning principles Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and data analysis to track orders, inventory and production metrics Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team environment Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or related field Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing environment with customer service/contact experience
