IS A HANDS ON ATTENTIN TO DETAIL WITH HAND TOOLS POSITION. PLEASE READ THE JOB DESCRIPTTION BEFORE APPLYING.
We are seeking a skilled Prototype Fabricator join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metalworking , with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various materials and utilizing power tools to fabricate and assemble sheet metal structures and components. The Sheet Metal Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our products.
  • This is NOT a welding position

Job Description:
The primary objective of the Aerospace Fabricator includes the fabrication, assembly, installation and repair of sheet metal products and components.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
  • Setting up and operating fabricating machines including break press, metal muncher, rollers, etc.
  • Have general knowledge and understanding of reading blueprints, datum's tolerances and assure quality workmanship
  • Lay out, measure and inspect part dimensions to blueprints, internal drawings or written instructions using height gauges, micrometers, dial instructions and calipers
  • Experience in qualifying sheet metal parts to fit models, check fixtures and or print specifications
  • Layout, trim, saw and sand, shear, punch, brake or otherwise fabricate parts per established procedures and production standards and to stated and acceptable quality standards
  • Qualify part details to tooling, fixtures and models to print specifications
  • Ability to identify any cost cutting or process improvements
  • Fill out and complete all paperwork needed before moving parts to next operations for processing
  • Ability to perform exceptional housekeeping duties a must
