CNC Production Mill Operator Midnight Shift - 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM Monday - Friday, OT based on customer demand Train on Day Shift 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM for 2-4 weeks
Rate:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Job Overview:
Watson Engineering is seeking an experience CNC Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will perform skilled level work in the fabrication, assembly, maintenance, and repair of a variety of metal parts and tools.
Job Duties:
Fabricating, maintaining and repairing metal objects Measuring work carefully by using precision tools Performing milling and lathe work Setting up, operating, adjusting, cleaning and storing the tools, machinery, and equipment of the machinist's trade Interpreting blueprints, sketches, models and other visual aids Verifying conformance of work piece to specifications Recognizing typical problems in parts and equipment when they occur Performing tool changeover and adjustments Applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout and machining procedures Cleaning and other general shop tasks Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Job Skills:
1+ years CNC Operator experience and/or on-the-job training Familiar with Offsets, tool changes and program edits Interpret blueprints Familiar with typical machine shop equipment Basic computer skills General inspection knowledge Understanding of basic shop math, geometry and trigonometry All positions start as contract to direct for 30-60 days
