Opportunity:
The Senior KPO Technician will focus primarily on hands on shop floor Kaizen activities, performs a variety of Continuous Improvement tasks in support of the Kaizen Promotion Office. Aides in creating a safe, efficient, and effective Lean operation.
Responsibilities:
Interfaces with all functional departments and handle Continuous Improvement requests Undertakes independent projects as needed in support of department Supports Supervisors, Team Leaders and Associates in the application of the Lean principles Assists in the creation of Work Instructions, Daily Management, 6 Sigma and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Documents Assists in designs and fabricates equipment from Creform Tubing and other materials Assists in the completion of Kaizen Newspaper Action Items Participates in and supports Kaizen Event Adheres to all Core Values (Health and Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Development of People, Integrity, Corporate Citizenship, Continuous Improvement, Respect). Adheres to all Core Competencies (Communication, Teamwork, Achieving Results, Commitment to Continuous Improvement, Judgement). Other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent 1-2 years in continuous improvement related experience 2-4 years in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
