Manufacturing | Production Operations | Machine Operation | Quality-Focused Workplace Ambient Recruiting is partnered with a manufacturing company seeking dependable and motivated Production Operators. This role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating production machinery while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process. This is a great opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced industrial environment. What You'll Be Doing Set up and align tooling in production machines according to specifications Position work pieces against fixtures or machine stops Start and monitor machines to detect malfunctions or misalignment Adjust machine settings, including air and oil pressure, as needed Inspect finished parts and materials for quality and accuracy Make machine adjustments to correct production errors Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery and work areas Follow production schedules and workplace safety procedures Use hand tools and inspection equipment as needed Support team productivity and quality goals What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read blueprints preferred, but not required Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers or micrometers is a plus Basic math and computer skills preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Dependable attendance and punctuality Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn Why You'll Like This Job Competitive starting pay $1.50/hour shift premium for 2nd shift Stable manufacturing environment Hands-on production work with variety in daily tasks Opportunity to develop machine operation and manufacturing skills Team-focused workplace culture Opportunity for growth within manufacturing operations Consistent full-time schedule with overtime opportunities on Fridays Real Talk This position involves standing for extended periods and working around moving machinery in a loud manufacturing environment.
