2nd Shift Production Lead Assistant Wixom, MI 48393 $20 an hour - Full-time $20 an hour - Full-time Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a 2nd Shift Production Lead Assistant and become a vital part of our fast-paced, innovative production environment! This role offers the opportunity to support production operations during the evening shift (M-F 2:30-11pm), ensuring smooth workflows and high-quality output. As a key team member, you will assist in supervising assembly line activities, coordinate with team members, and help maintain a safe, efficient manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Support the production lead in overseeing daily manufacturing activities during the 2nd shift Assist with managing assembly line operations to meet production goals and quality standards Operate and maintain equipment using hand tools, power tools, and forklift as needed Ensure safety protocols are followed by all team members, conducting routine safety checks and inspections Help coordinate warehouse activities including material handling, inventory management, and shipping logistics Support training new team members on assembly processes and equipment use Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and safety incidents Requirements Previous manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely Experience working on an assembly line or in an assembly environment Strong understanding of warehouse procedures and material handling processes Ability to work efficiently during the 2nd shift hours with flexibility for overtime if needed Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward teamwork and safety Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and protocols is a plus Join us to be part of a team dedicated to excellence in manufacturing!
