Job Description

Innovance, Inc., an employee-owned manufacturing leader in Albert Lea, MN, is seeking a 2nd Shift Press Brake Operator. In this role, you will set up and safely operate press brake equipment to form metal components to precise specifications, using blueprints, work instructions, and measuring tools to verify part quality. You'll monitor production, perform basic machine adjustments, and complete documentation. Responsibilities Set up and safely operate press brake equipment on 2nd shift to form metal components Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine bend sequences and dimensions Use measuring tools such as calipers and gauges to verify part quality and tolerances Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments to maintain accuracy and productivity Handle and stage raw materials and finished parts according to work instructions Complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time Follow safety procedures and 5 S/lean practices to maintain a clean, safe work area Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve processes Required Skills Press brake operation Metal fabrication Blueprint reading Caliper and micrometer use Quality inspection Basic CNC control use Shop math Material handling Preventive maintenance Safety compliance
