Activar Construction Products Group (ACPG) manufactures and distributes thousands of products for the commercial construction industry.
Hours:
2nd shift runs Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 2:00 am
Pay:
$16.50/hr. our 2nd shift also pays an additional $2.00/hr. shift differential on top of your base hourly wage ($18.50). If you transfer from 2nd Shift, you will no longer be eligible for the additional 2nd shift differential of +$2.00/hr. Paid Weekly! Weekly opportunities often available to pick up additional overtime hours!
Location:
Bloomington, MN This position is responsible for assisting with daily production while working with components in and organized manner within an assigned area as directed. The Production Associate accurately and efficiently completes orders to established procedures and quality standards. Our production teams work in a fast-paced environment where they are on their feet for eight hours, assembling commercial products.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assist with daily production to ensure the highest quality of production is achieved. Review daily manufacturing functions and job orders to ensure awareness of requirements. Ensure the safe operation of equipment. Recommend measures to improve production methods, and quality of product. Report immediately to supervisor/lead/manager any and all problems, which may affect safety, equipment, tooling, and/or quality. Maintain full working knowledge of all processes. Ensure a clean and organized work environment. Conduct himself/herself in a professional manner in accordance with company guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Tenacity in overcoming obstacles while maintaining productive and positive working relationships. Ability to execute in a rapidly changing fast paced environment that requires strong team work. Understanding of all tools, gages, equipment, and other various instruments used to perform position. Basic ability to understand blue prints, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams. Skill in performing accurate arithmetic functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; using decimals, percentages, fractions, and ratios.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification. Previous experience in a similar manufacturing setting.
