#90148 Job Description Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Senior Manufacturing / Production Operator to support the Wired Chassis area performing chassis wiring, mechanical assembly, component installation, cable routing, and hardware integration activities. This role involves assembling and integrating electronic and mechanical components into chassis-level systems, reading schematics and assembly drawings, performing soldering and cable harnessing tasks, conducting basic electrical testing, and supporting hardware rework and refurbishment. The hiring manager is seeking a hands-on manufacturing professional with experience in wiring, electro-mechanical assembly, and system integration within a production environment.

$25 per hour
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Required Skills & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, production, electronics assembly, electromechanical assembly, or related experience. Experience with chassis wiring, component installation, and hardware assembly. Ability to use hand tools, assembly tools, and press equipment for production and integration activities. Experience assembling electronic and mechanical subassemblies, modules, panels, frames, drawers, and cables. Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, manufacturing instructions, and technical documentation. Experience performing wiring, cable harnessing, and interconnect assembly. Hand soldering experience and electronic component installation knowledge. Knowledge of polarity requirements, inspection criteria, and manufacturing quality standards. Experience working with Bills of Material (BOMs) and work order tracking systems. Ability to integrate subassemblies into final hardware and complete final system assembly activities. Experience performing basic electrical testing and verification. Experience performing hardware rework, repair, refurbishment, or modifications. Proficiency with measuring tools and basic manufacturing-related mathematics. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established manufacturing processes and procedures. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
