Midwest Staffing Group | Multiple Openings | $21-$23/Hour Midwest Staffing Group is hiring for multiple manufacturing and production positions! We are looking for dependable, motivated candidates to join a busy production environment. All positions start at $21-$23/hour, depending on experience , with opportunities for long-term employment. If you have experience in manufacturing, machine operation, printing, production, material handling, or warehouse work — or you're looking to learn a new skill — we want to talk to you! 2nd Shift Positions Monday-Friday | Training provided on 1st shift The following positions are 2nd shift roles , but candidates will train on 1st shift, Monday-Friday , before transitioning to their regular 2nd shift schedule. Mail Inserter Operate mail inserting and production equipment Load materials and monitor machine operation Inspect finished products for quality Make basic machine adjustments as needed Keep production area clean and organized Meet production and quality goals Material Handler Move materials and finished products throughout the facility Load and unload materials Stage materials for production Keep inventory and work areas organized Assist production teams with material needs Follow all safety procedures Folder Operator Operate folding and finishing equipment Set up and monitor machines Load materials and maintain proper machine operation Perform quality checks throughout production Make basic adjustments as needed Meet production deadlines and quality standards Small Machines Operator Operate small production machines and equipment Load materials and monitor production Perform quality inspections Make basic machine adjustments Follow work instructions and safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Production Helper Assist machine operators with production activities Load and unload materials Stack, pack, and prepare finished products Inspect products for quality Keep production areas clean and organized Perform other production duties as assigned Machine Operators - 12-Hour Shifts 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM | 3-4 Days Per Week We are also hiring Machine Operators for a 12-hour overnight schedule. Employees will typically work 3-4 days per week , providing a great opportunity for candidates looking for a compressed work schedule.
Responsibilities include:
Operate production machinery safely and efficiently Load materials and monitor machine performance Make basic adjustments to maintain production quality Perform quality inspections Complete production paperwork Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report problems to supervisors Maintain a clean and safe work area Meet production and quality expectations Machine operating experience is preferred, but candidates with strong manufacturing or production experience may also be considered.
