Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, Friday 6:00 am to 12:00 pm Position Summary The Production Support Associate plays a critical role in supporting daily manufacturing operations by ensuring materials, tools, workstations, and production areas are organized, stocked, and ready for efficient production. This position assists production teams by supplying materials, maintaining clean and safe work areas, coordinating carts and equipment, and completing various operational support tasks assigned by the Production Manager. Essential Responsibilities Pick and deliver materials to production cut cells to support daily manufacturing schedules. Empty wood scrap bins and maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment. Coordinate cart collection and movement of materials throughout the production floor. Perform end-of-day cleanup activities to ensure work areas are ready for the next shift. Stock point-of-use inventory and production supplies as needed. Organize and coordinate tools, equipment, and workstations to support daily production requirements. Assist production employees with material handling and operational support activities. Follow all company safety procedures and housekeeping standards. Work collaboratively with production teams to maintain workflow and operational efficiency. Perform additional duties and special projects assigned by the Production Manager. Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is beneficial but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 30-40 pounds periodically throughout the workday. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the production floor for extended periods. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must be able to work Overtime as needed. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and then work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Clear communicator who works effectively with others. Team-oriented attitude and willingness to support multiple departments. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Working Conditions Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, equipment, and production materials. Frequent walking throughout the facility. Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials and supplies. Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Success in This Role A successful Production Support Associate keeps production teams supplied, workstations organized, and production areas clean and safe, helping ensure efficient operations and on-time production performance. Hiring Rate:
$19/hour Many factors affect actual compensation including but not limited to experience, education, skills, and geographic location
