Job Description

Sofidel America of Duluth, MN is currently seeking a Product Office Assistant . We are searching for a candidate that is local to the area and is looking for a long-term role in a stable environment. Your expertise will make you an important part of our team! Sofidel America is a subsidiary of the Sofidel Group, one of the leading manufacturers of paper for hygienic and domestic use worldwide. Job Responsibilities:
Elaborate and maintain the technical specifications and bills of material of the finished product for production. Create and keep up with the technical standards and material bills for the finished product. Coordinate with the Group Operating Process Office to coordinate the activities related to the creation of new products and providing the Marketing & Sales Area elements on the production costs. Create and update technical documentation for the raw and auxiliary materials to meet the requirements of the clients, and enter daily production and consumption of raw material. Monitor, develop, and modify the lay out, decorations and technical characteristics of the finished product and its wrap. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers. Collaborate with the Production and Operation Management to ensure improvement of products, materials and of the products palletizing system. Provide ongoing communication and technical support with the Contract Converting customers. Ensure efficient reference reporting. Create the production batches, then check the quantities produced and the raw materials utilized. Monitor economic dimensions and quantitative data such as budget and production costs. Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies. Maintain a safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping the work area in a clean and orderly condition. Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified levels of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree is preferred. 1-2 years of related work experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of SAP preferred Excellent attention to detail.
