This role operates independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality craftsmanship. You will handle finishing and assembly tasks while ensuring strict adherence to technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate a drill press, countersinking machinery, and various air tools.
Finishing Work:
Perform deburring and tumbling tasks to ensure smooth, high-quality product surfaces.
Material Handling:
Assist with transferring products safely into and out of designated production areas.
Cross-Department Support:
Provide general assistance to the wider production staff and work within the Assembly Department as needed.
Quality Control:
Follow written instructions and blueprints to meet strict dimensional standards.
Requirements & Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical Skills:
Basic computer literacy and a solid understanding of decimal dimensions and print reading.
Work Ethic:
Strong dependability, attention to detail, and a commitment to overall neatness in workmanship.
Mental & Physical Requirements Focus:
Ability to remain on-task, working at a steady, accurate pace from project start to finish.
Strength:
Average stamina with the physical ability to lift and handle up to 75 lbs during standard tasks.
Sensory:
Good eyesight for quality inspection and strong communication skills to collaborate with coworkers.
