Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Handwork Helper on 2nd shift , where you'll play a vital role in the finishing and assembly of printed materials. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work closely with skilled operators and production staff to ensure high-quality handwork tasks are completed efficiently. RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with paper binding, trimming, and finishing processes using various industrial equipment and hand tools Interpret production documents and specifications to accurately execute print finishing tasks Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Maintains quality standards. Keeps work area neat and clean Improves skills by learning from others and studying procedures and instructions Suggest improvements in work procedures Reports all problems to supervisor Limits waste of materials and supplies Perform other duties as assigned by the Bindery Supervisor or designated representative Perform job duties in accordance with all federal, state, local, and company safety rules.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to follow oral or written (English) job instructions. Level of work activity requires lifting no more than 60 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 30 pounds, agility in a fast pace, high demand environment which requires standing, squatting, bending, and crawling into small areas while running and maintaining equipment, and hand dexterity. Availability to work overtime and weekends. Hearing protection is required per OSHA standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must satisfy training requirements as established by company training procedures. A technical or vocational degree in graphic arts is helpful.
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
