In this hands-on role, you'll work directly with robotics, motion controls, electronics, mechanical assemblies, and vacuum equipment—solving challenging problems and making a visible impact on production every day. If you enjoy working with tools, tackling complex equipment issues, and seeing the results of your work, this is the opportunity for you. The position offers a regular day-shift schedule with limited overtime. Responsibilities Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-system problems involving sensors, motors, motion controls, PLCs, and automated sequences. Maintain and repair wafer-handling robots, automated material-transfer systems, vacuum systems, and related process equipment. Use hand tools, test equipment, schematics, and technical documentation to disassemble, repair, replace, calibrate, and reassemble equipment components. Schedule and perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime, reliability, and performance. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and new-system testing. Work with engineers and scientists to optimize etch, photolithography, deposition, and wafer-handling equipment; maintain accurate service and performance records. Qualifications Strong hands-on aptitude in automation, robotics, electronics, mechanical systems, and vacuum technology. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex automated equipment. Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, motors, motion controls, robotic systems, and equipment-control software. Ability to use hand tools, multimeters, diagnostic equipment, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with engineers, scientists, and production teams. Associate degree in Automation and Robotics Technology, Mechatronics, Electronic Technology, Industrial Automation, Vacuum and Thin-Film Technology, or a related field; equivalent technical training or relevant hands-on experience may be considered.
