Position Summary The Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, organizing, staging, and delivering materials and products throughout the manufacturing facility. This position supports production by ensuring materials are available when needed while maintaining accurate inventory and a clean, organized work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and products. Move materials between receiving, inventory, production, and shipping areas using carts, pallet jacks, and other approved equipment. Stage materials and components for production according to work orders and production schedules. Pick and deliver materials to production workstations as needed. Load and unload materials safely using appropriate material-handling equipment. Verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and documentation for accuracy. Perform inventory counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records. Scan materials and update inventory or production tracking systems. Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment. Maintain organized material storage areas and production workspaces. Communicate material shortages, damaged products, or inventory discrepancies to supervisors. Follow all company safety procedures, SOPs, and quality requirements. Assist production employees with material needs to maintain an efficient workflow. Perform other manufacturing and material-handling duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to safely lift and move materials throughout the workday. Basic computer and inventory-scanning skills preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable attendance and strong teamwork and communication skills.
