General Production Worker

Job Title:

General Production Worker Job Description This role involves operating a punch press machine by inserting flat, light metal plates and using a foot pedal to punch metal caps or lids. Once completed, parts are pushed into a bin and new pieces are inserted into the machine. The work can be repetitive and requires attention to detail. Responsibilities Operate a punch press machine efficiently and safely. Insert and remove metal plates, ensuring quality and accuracy. Assist in various departments such as shipping, assembly, and packaging as needed. Perform miscellaneous shop duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience with punch press operations. General labor and assembly skills. Proficiency with hand tools and general production techniques. Minimum of 6+ months of manufacturing experience or entry-level high school graduates. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience operating a punch press is advantageous. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different tasks. The shop is currently a bit cluttered but will have more space once the expansion is completed. Enjoy a blue-collar atmosphere with a typical small shop sense of humor. The owner is hands-on and participates in floor work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Maple Lake, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
