Competitive hourly rate + overtime + safety & production bonuses About the Role We are seeking motivated, reliable individuals to join our Re‑Tread Department as General Production Workers . In this entry-level role, you will learn the full tire retreading process—from inspection to machine operation—while working in a clean, organized production environment. This position is ideal for candidates with strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience in labor-intensive or hands-on roles. Key Responsibilities Inspect incoming tires to determine condition and readiness for retreading Operate retread machinery following established safety and quality procedures Prepare tires for buffing using power buffing wheels and tire holders Install retread rubber with accuracy and attention to detail Load and unload curing equipment as part of the tire curing process Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Move tires through production stations using hook and lift systems Follow production schedules and meet daily productivity targets Maintain a clean work area and uphold all housekeeping standards Communicate with team members regarding workflow and process improvements Participate in ongoing training to learn new machines and processes Required Skills & Experience 3-6 months experience in a fast-paced or production environment 3-6 months experience using hand tools Ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent bending, twisting, and stooping Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and machines Basic machine operation experience Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, "go‑getter" attitude Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savage, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
