Job Description

Join Our Creative Team in Beautiful Downtown Stillwater We're looking for a Production Artist who thrives in a fast-paced environment, obsesses over details, and knows how to turn creative concepts into flawless production-ready artwork. If you take pride in execution, speed, accuracy, and delivering files that are ready to go, we'd love to meet you. Our office is located in a beautifully restored historic building in downtown Stillwater, just steps from the St. Croix River. We're a small but mighty team of creators, builders, and doers who value initiative, collaboration, and ownership. Everyone here plays an important role, and we're looking for someone excited to make a meaningful impact as part of a growing company. What You'll Do As our Production Artist, you'll be responsible for turning creative concepts into polished, production-ready files. You'll work closely with designers, marketers, vendors, and printers to ensure every project is executed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare and productionize artwork for print and digital applications Set up print-ready files including bleeds, trim, crop marks, and color profiles Resize and adapt designs across multiple formats and platforms Maintain brand consistency across all materials Review files for accuracy, resolution, fonts, linked assets, and formatting Collaborate with designers, marketing teams, printers, and vendors Manage revisions and version updates quickly and accurately Handle multiple projects, proofs, and deadlines simultaneously Troubleshoot production challenges before final output Organize and maintain digital asset libraries and file structures What We're Looking For Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Strong understanding of print production processes and specifications Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Knowledge of color modes including CMYK, RGB, spot colors, and Pantone systems Strong typography, layout, and prepress knowledge Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Self-starter mindset with a willingness to take initiative Team player who enjoys collaborating while also working independently Bonus Skills Experience with packaging artwork, dielines, mockups, and packaging templates Basic photo retouching and image editing Knowledge of digital asset management systems Experience preparing files for packaging, signage, products, or marketing materials Qualifications 2+ years of production art, graphic production, or related experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Production Design, or a related field preferred Portfolio showcasing production, layout, and detail-oriented design work Why You'll Love Working Here Work in a charming historic office in downtown Stillwater Be part of a collaborative team where your ideas and contributions matter Enjoy a variety of projects across products, packaging, marketing, and branding Take ownership of your work and make a meaningful impact Join a growing company where initiative and creativity are valued If you're passionate about bringing great creative work to life, thrive on organization and accuracy, and want to be part of a team that values collaboration, accountability, and initiative, we'd love to hear from you.

$25.21 - $30.36 per hour
