Blending Operator - 2nd
Shift Pay Rate:
$24.75/hour Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your career in manufacturing while working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment? We are seeking a Blending Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating blending equipment, ensuring product quality, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the efficient production of high-quality products. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, mechanically inclined, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Schedule Thursday - Sunday 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed is required. Key Responsibilities Operate blending equipment, including startup, shutdown, and troubleshooting procedures Follow blending instructions, formulations, and sampling plans accurately Safely operate a forklift to move ingredients and materials Maintain a valid driver's license and adhere to all equipment safety procedures Monitor blending processes to ensure product quality and consistency Complete equipment cleaning and sanitation requirements Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment to meet company, customer, and regulatory standards Complete production documentation accurately and in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, Food Safety, and Food Defense requirements Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Assist with additional production responsibilities as assigned by leadership Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain certification) Valid driver's license required Previous manufacturing, blending, production, food processing, or industrial experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow written and verbal directions accurately Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to learn and follow detailed manufacturing processes and safety protocols Self-motivated with a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement Willingness to participate in cross-training and ongoing development opportunities Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods (8-12 hours) Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift Comfortable working in varying temperature environments Ability to perform physically demanding job duties in a manufacturing setting Why Join Us?
