Full Job Description Purpose:
The operator is responsible for equipment operation while maintaining quality standards, adhering to recognized GMP standards and performing the required procedures to ensure the integrity of the product.
Essential Responsibilities:
All plant personnel have the responsibility to monitor and report any deviations from our Food Safety and Food Quality (HACCP & SQF) programs to your immediate supervisor. Monitor and report any deviation from the Food Safety & Food Quality program. Responsible for operation/ CIP of half gallon & gallon filling equipment and protocols. Maintain proper customer carton supply following script without interfering with production and efficiencies. Perform Dye checks as well as Titrate Sanitize tank every hour. Perform case packer and blow mold duties and will be required to palletize. Maintain constant communication with lab, processing and case packers. Milk receiving responsibilities. Complete all required documentation.
Knowledge and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to comprehend GMP standard and quality control measures. Previous filling equipment experience preferred. Strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Physical Requirements:
Must possess the physical ability to work the entire shift on the plant floor working in a cool, wet environment with temperatures ranging between 34-38 degrees will be a requirement. Standing, walking, climbing, repetitive bending, repetitive stooping, repetitive reaching with arms and repetitive grasping with hands and fingers. Must have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment working around production machines, warehouse equipment, forklifts, large trucks and tankers.
