Full Job Description Pay:
$18.00/hour Penmac Staffing is hiring Apparel Production Associates for a custom apparel production facility in Grandview, MO. This is a hands-on production position that offers training, consistent hours, and the opportunity to learn multiple areas of apparel manufacturing. Employees may work in garment decoration, order fulfillment, shipping, or other production departments based on business needs and experience.
Pay:
$18.00/hour Requirements for the Apparel Production Associate Previous manufacturing, warehouse, apparel production, or machine operation experience preferred but not required Ability to learn production equipment, software, and RF scanning systems Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic math and counting skills Dependable with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently after training Willingness to cross-train in multiple departments Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team Apparel Production Associate Responsibilities Operate heat-seal, embroidery, and other apparel production equipment Set up machines and make basic adjustments as trained Inspect finished garments for quality and order accuracy Count, fold, organize, and prepare garments for production and shipment Use RF scanners to select products and fill customer orders Verify item numbers, sizes, quantities, and order information Pack garments neatly and accurately for shipment Follow work orders, production instructions, and safety procedures Meet daily production and quality goals Identify and report equipment or product issues Perform basic machine and work-area cleaning Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Assist in other production departments as needed Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and operate production equipment Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift Why You'll Like This Job Competitive pay at $18.00 per hour On-the-job training provided Opportunity to learn multiple areas of apparel production Team-oriented work environment Potential for long-term employment and skill development Apply online today or contact the Penmac Overland Park Branch for more information about this Apparel Production Associate opportunity.
