Production Associate

Hours:

As a Production Associate, you'll work hands-on with production equipment, packaging, palletizing, and quality checks while helping maintain a clean and organized work environment. Don't miss this associate to hire opportunity in Kansas City, MO. Production Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Follow all safety and quality guidelines
• Assist in preparing production line for runs including proper safety checks and staging of raw materials assist with production counts, quality checks and downtime recording
• Operate all production equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
• Properly handle raw materials and assist in identifying potential quality issues
• Escalate issues to Operator, Production Supervisor and Warehouse Manager as necessary
• Maintain production and warehouse areas in proper state of cleanliness and follow all SOPs; follow GMPs and keep company in compliance with certifications (Organic, Kosher, HACCP, SQF, etc.)
• Maintain 5s in the production department

Production Associate Requirements:

• Previous food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Basic computer skills; Redzone experience a plus, but not required
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and PPE requirements
• Knowledge of manual and power jack operation (training will be provided, as necessary)
• Basic reading and math skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand entire shift
