This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement while ensuring production goals are met. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching employees, holding teams accountable, and leading by example. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial vehicle assembly, including walk-in vans, truck bodies, or parcel delivery vehicles (PDVs). Previous leadership or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong understanding of manufacturing build processes and production workflows. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety with the ability to identify and correct unsafe conditions or practices immediately. Experience promoting and enforcing safety policies and leading by example. Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is a plus. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to coach, train, and hold team members accountable in a fair and consistent manner. Flexible with work hours and assignments based on production needs. Basic computer skills and the ability to complete production documentation and reports.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
