Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Penmac Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Machine Operator for a manufacturing company in Lone Jack, MO. This full-time position is perfect for someone with sewing experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality finished products. The Industrial Sewing Machine Operator will work with custom-printed fabrics used for banners, trade show displays, signage, and other specialty products in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements for the Industrial Sewing Machine OperatorPrevious sewing experience preferred, especially with industrial sewing machinesExperience operating straight-stitch and serger machines preferredAbility to read a tape measure and follow detailed measurementsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityAbility to work with large or oversized fabric materialsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsReliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a teamIndustrial Sewing Machine Operator ResponsibilitiesOperate industrial sewing machines to sew and finish fabric productsPrepare, measure, cut, and position fabric according to production specificationsSew hems, seams, edges, and other finishes to customer requirementsHandle and maneuver large fabric rolls and oversized materialsRead and follow work orders and production instructionsInspect completed products for quality, accuracy, and consistencyIdentify and correct sewing defects when neededMake basic machine adjustments, including changing thread and needlesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaMeet daily production goals while maintaining quality standardsAssist with additional production and finishing duties as assignedPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit or stand for extended periodsAbility to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movementsAbility to bend, reach, and move materials throughout the workdayAbility to handle and position large pieces of fabricAbility to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodationApply online or contact Penmac Staffing's Overland Park office for more information.
