The Assistant Musical Director works closely with the Musical Director/Director to support the artistic vision, rehearsal process, and overall production of the musical. This individual serves as the right-hand person to the Director, providing hands-on support wherever needed to help the production run smoothly and successfully. The Assistant Musical Director should be a dependable, collaborative, and energetic team member who is comfortable working with students in a variety of settings. This role may involve leading rehearsals, working with small groups or individuals, assisting with choreography and music, and helping with other production-related tasks as delegated by the Director. The ideal candidate has a basic working knowledge of acting, singing, and choreography, as well as a willingness to learn and jump in wherever needed.
