- Thursday) We're seeking a dependable Rewinder Operator for a 2nd shift associate-to-hire opportunity in Tiffany Springs, MO.
Rewind Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate rewinder equipment to process rolls of material into the required unwind position according to job specifications
- Continuously inspect materials for print quality, seam quality, and other product defects
- Identify, remove, and correct defective material through proper splicing procedures
- Utilize hand tools including rulers, safety knives, and hole punches during splicing and production processes
- Handle, move, and palletize finished rolls while preventing product damage
- Understand and identify common printing, seam, and material defects
- Accurately record production data and complete required paperwork
- Enter production information into company operating systems and databases
- Follow all quality standards, production procedures, and safety guidelines Requirements for
Rewind Operator:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or converting experience preferred
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to calculate label counts, conversions, measurements, and quantities
- Ability to use basic Windows-based computer applications and data entry systems
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the work shift
- Ability to reach, grasp, feel, and manipulate objects and controls
- Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or move up to 50 pounds
