In this role, you will be an essential part of the assembly process, ensuring smooth operations on the assembly line and maintaining safety standards throughout the facility. Your mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills will contribute to a fast-paced environment focused on efficiency and excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a thriving production setting while supporting our commitment to quality and innovation. Duties The Production Associate will be responsible for the assembly and sub-assembly operations in the production of our harvesting machines. Responsibilities include matching precision with speed. Take ownership of workmanship with a detailed eye for quality. We are seeking someone who exhibits a continuous improvement mindset, possesses a strong work ethic and is a quick learner.
Essential Requirements:
Prior experience in vehicle/farm equipment repair/maintenance is preferred but not required. Experience with hydraulic systems, trouble shooting and best practices is preferred. Ability to learn, read and understand assembly process documentation. Assemble parts, position, align, and fasten units to frames, using hand tools and power tools. Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to meet company standards Operate small cranes and forklift to transport or position large parts. Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must have an excellent attendance record Must be a self-starter, reliable, dependable and on time Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a high quality of work Physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and perform manual tasks throughout shifts Familiarity with assembly line processes and manufacturing procedures Must be able to work with others and also be able to work independently Must have forklift experience required, must exhibit proficiency (training provided) Must maintain clean work environment Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Must have own tools. Other duties as assigned
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
Work is in a production atmosphere, requires bending, lifting up to 75 pounds, squatting, standing, walking. Work 4 - 10 hour days (M-Th) with Fridays earning time and a half pay.
